Privacy at American AncesTREES
We take your privacy seriously. We don't share information about your account with anyone. Here are some additional things you might like to know about privacy at American AncesTREES.
Living people are private
Living people in your tree are private, no matter what plan you're on. You're the only one who can see information about living people. In order for anyone else to be able to see this information, you would need to invite them to your tree.
The difference between public and private trees
The difference between public and private trees comes down to the availability of information about deceased people.
In public trees, information about deceased people is readily available. Anyone with the link to their page can see it, or find them by searching. With private trees, someone must be invited before they can see information about deceased people.
Private trees are an exclusive benefit for Premium Tree subscribers. Learn more about upgrading your tree plan
